Tescia Seufferlein is a classically trained painter who has worked in theatre, film, and television for nearly two decades. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Tescia studied art and theatre at UC Berkeley with an emphasis in costume and surface design. In 2005 she began working on Broadway and at Jeff Fender Studio, the premier painting, dyeing, and distressing studio in New York City. Tescia managed the studio for over six years and was a lead costume painter on projects from fashion shows to musicals, television series to feature films. In 2015 she returned to her roots in the Bay and received a Masters in Fine Arts with an emphasis in textiles from California College of the Arts. After graduating in 2017, she co-founded Borderline Art Collective and, most recently, worked on the soon-to-be-released Ang Lee film, Gemini Man. Tescia currently lives and work in Oakland, CA.
